With soccer being my main passion, I am limiting my college options to schools with a competitive soccer program. My career aspirations are not conclusive at this time, as I am still weighing different fields. I have a strong interest in sports medicine, however, mathematical applications is my strong point.
I believe that I am a good candidate for any team due to my determination, stamina and dedication. I have played on approximately 45 teams since the age of 5. I played year around on several different leagues within my county, and by the age of 6 I was playing on competitive teams and played up a minimum of one age level. I am currently playing on a U- 19 competitive team of which I have played on since I was 15, and will be playing for the Hudson High Cobra's varsity team for the fourth year straight, as I skipped right over the JV roster, and have been defensive captain for the past two years. I have a strong fervency and commitment to the game and my team, and display strong communication to encourage complete team work. I always go that extra mile, and have developed an exercise and training schedule independent of my team requirements, and I maintain a healthy diet consisting of 85% raw and whole foods to encourage complete health from the inside out.
I am very disciplined and motivated in everything I do. I have maintained honor roll throughout my high school experience, in addition to playing on two teams I have also been working at the same job for the past three years in order to pay for all of my sporting activities. For the past five years I have also played football, three of which on the HHS varsity team; however, I have decided to fully dedicate myself to soccer during this, my senior year. Although it would be the upmost honor to receive an athletic scholarship, I am equally committed to achieving an academic scholarship as well.
I truly believe I am the man to fill the defensive position on your team and I look forward to meeting with you to prove my commitment and dedication to success. Thank you for your time.
