Personal Statement
Being able to be apart of a school team that made District finals for the past 6 years in a row is something to be proud of. The intense practices to the hot days have not only allowed me to grow as player, but as an individual as well. Not making it every year to regionals was an upset, but it drove me harder as an athlete to do better than the last season. Having this mentality allowed me to better myself in my academics and to become the best striker possible at a college level.
However, I feel the experience of not pursing any further then regionals has allowed me to expand as a student-athlete. Commitment, leadership, and sacrifice are some of the values that I have learned over the years and have made me the athlete and student I am today. As a student-athlete i am looking for a program that suits me academically and athletically. Not only do I believe that I have the dedication and the mind set for a college team, but the skills and the character to improve and benefit your program.
