In the 2018 summer/fall season, completing a perfect 32-0-0 record was an outstanding achievement as an individual and team overall. However, a devastating loss in penalties in the Ontario Cup quarterfinals had a greater impact on the person I am today. Although the experience was a negative one, as an individual I have learned from this in many ways. The loss allowed me to grow as a student-athlete and realize that from that moment forward, I had to work hard, be dedicated and be resilient in order to compete at the college level.
From the age of four, soccer has always been prominent in my life. Other than improving as a player, soccer enabled me to learn more about myself off the pitch. I understood how to be a team player, deal with competition, manage losses, and overall continue to get better and move forward. Goals in life are extremely important; my goal in high school is to graduate with an above 90% average throughout all four years. Furthermore, in college I plan on attending a school that suits me and will allow me to not only major in business administration but ultimately learn more about life and myself. Through my competitive nature, talent, commitment, hard work and leadership skills, I believe I can become a valuable asset to your program!
