Jonathan Kidd '24 Recruiting Profile

My name is Jonathan Kidd and I play center back or outside back. I have a 3.97 unweighted GPA in the Legal Studies Academy at First Colonial High School in Virginia Beach.  I currently play for Beach FC 06 ECNL team and aspire to compete in college soccer at the highest level while obtaining my college degree. I am motivated to succeed not only as a player and a student, but also as a person in character and integrity. Every day I strive to improve my game in some way, whether by working on my technical ability, going to the gym, watching a tactical film, or even sharpening my mind. I am dominant physically which helps me defend well and excel in aerial duels. I am a technical defender who breaks lines of pressure through passes. I have supreme confidence in 1v1 defending situations as well as other defending scenarios with pristine positioning and cover play. On top of that, I strive to lead whatever team I'm on to victory and success and work hard for my team. What makes me a good candidate is my strong mentality, drive, and completeness as a student-athlete.
