Shakir Claxton '15 Recruiting Profile

Hi coaches,

My name is Shakir Claxton. I was born in New Orleans,Louisiana but I grew up in the caribbean, on a small island named Nevis which is a part of the island federation Saint Kitts and Nevis. I have been playing soccer ever since I could remember. I have always loved the touch of the ball to my feet and always enjoyed playing even on days when my friends were busy or a slight injury had troubled me i always wanted to at least be around people playing as a way of giving me motivation to get better fast and to be back out on the field. I am a determined and hard working player. I pride myself in my my level of discipline and my ability to listen to and learn from my coaches.My strongest attributes as a player are my ball control, passing, versatility at set pieces and also my awareness of the pitch and the flow of the game. I also try my best inside the classroom striving for the highest grades possible to better my chances of having a successful future in anything I attempt to achieve.
