Sports have always played a large role in my life. From a very young age, I practiced Taekwondo. Throughout my many years of martial arts training, I was able to learn various skills such as humility, respect, discipline, and leadership by competing at tournaments and performing for spectators. It was through this journey to becoming a third degree black belt that I was introduced to the sport of soccer.
Since about age 9, soccer has been what I spent most of my time on. Starting as a recreational player, I put many hours of hard work on and off the pitch to climb my way up the ranks and place on competitive teams. Through the years, I have learned how to command my team, become a comfortable player with my hands and feet, and ultimately how to enjoy the game. I have a passion for the game and would like to play at the collegiate level and God willing, professionally as well. Though these skills and desires have allowed me to achieve some success on the pitch, they have also allowed me to be successful in the classroom and excel academically. I plan to continue my studies and practice sports medicine.
