Ryan Klinger '27 Recruiting Profile

My name is Ryan Klinger, and I’m a left-footed defender playing for the Austin FC Academy U16 team. 

I’m a consistent presence across the back line. I control the defensive end with my composure under pressure, anticipation, and strong tackling skills that give me an advantage over our opponents. My long balls over the top to strikers and darting runs through the midfield contribute to our team’s offense, and I go forward on set pieces to increase our aerial threat in the box.

I’ve had a passion for soccer my whole life. As a committed and driven student athlete, I'm highly motivated and have a strong desire to continue my soccer career after high school graduation.
