Graeme Angell '25 Recruiting Profile

As I continue my high school studies, I am eager to pursue a degree in computer science due to its vast real-world applications. I’ve always had a great interest in computers and how they function. I have taken numerous classes for computer science in school as well as afterschool programs. I am currently ranked 7th in my class as part of the IB program.

The IB program has been extremely helpful in teaching me the importance of a balanced lifestyle. Despite its rigorous workload and pace, I have been able to persevere through its challenges. Time management is especially important as I am assigned many assignments per week and it feels overwhelming when they first arrive but I understand that I need to take my time and work on them consistently to not feel stressed.

Apart from my academics, I have developed a passion for photography. As a member of my high school's yearbook club, I specialize in sports photography. Capturing moments of celebration and emotion allows me to preserve the memories of the athlete’s special moments. 

Soccer has been another significant aspect of my life. Currently, I play for the highly competitive J Petrov Academy in Palm City. I not only want to win games and go to the national championship but also to build better relationships with my friends and coaches. This will be important as when I move off to college and have to build new relationships with others.
