Personal Statement

Hello,

I consider myself a team player and a leader on the field where I am constantly communicating with my defense and push them to do better. I have always been the starting goalkeeper not just because of my performance but because of the hard work, dedication and seriousness I put in every training session. I am comfortable using both my feet and I am not afraid to go outside the penalty box to kick away a dangerous ball.

The same goes with schooling where I hand in all my homeworks and prepare to my best for exams. After one week moving to Cypress Bay High School from a European High School I adapted to the US system with no problems. This adaptation is due to being fluently bilingual English/Spanish.

Clean sheet in all the games until the last minute of the final where a penalty was given to the opposing team. But what counts is the team played well and won the tournament. I was the captain in the second half which entiled me to lift the cup for my team. Great teamwork.

Goalkeeping Training

I take goalkeeping training serious as how you train is how you play and that is the truth. No goofing around and for the past 3 years I have been training 3 times a week in goalkeeping sessions, once a week with the team and a match on the weekends. I enjoy training and I plan do so until I retire.
Goalkeeping Training with Coach Rubio

I had one private goalkeeping training sessions with Coach Rubio since September 2016 for 3 years while in C.D. Mediterraneo and once a week with the other goalkeepers. During the 2 summers I had with him 2 sessions a week training in the beach to keep in shape for the following season. After leaving C.D. Mediterraeno I continued at least once a week private training for 2 years.
Goalkeeping Training with Coach Del Campo

In the 2 years at EF Torre Pacheco, Coach Del Campo trained me once a week privately and once a week with the other goalkeepers of the club.
Goalkeeping Training with Coach Yepes

Coach Yepes was my first goalkeeping coach who taught me the fundamentals to be in the goal box. Twice a week in two different soccer fields I had lessons with other goalkeepers of my age. No club goalkeeping training was available in Los Belones C.F..
