Jake Braun '22 Recruiting Profile

My love for this sport came very early. Beginning with Recreational  Leagues when I was 5 years old continuing to now with playing on Club and High School teams at age 16. I have been playing soccer my whole life and have always wanted to play at the next level. 

Ever since I can remember, going to college and being successful has always been on the top of my mind. I want to be able to attend a school where I can pursue playing soccer at a high level and be able to achieve a great education that I have longed and worked so tirelessly for throughout Middle and High School. A balance between getting the best quality of academics and playing soccer at the collegiate level is my goal.

I take Honors, AP, and AICE(Cambridge)  classes while maintaining a very high GPA. I take part in many extracurriculars and hold several board positions in these clubs and organizations. I am a team leader with a very high character and hardworking ethics. Learning and improving through my coaches is important to me. I am a solid defender and able to read the game well.  I play with speed and have a good vision of the field.
