Rafael Piazzi '24 Recruiting Profile

Nothing inspires me more than the will to be better. I'm a very competitive athlete, I don't just compete with others, my biggest rival is myself. I have moved to Mendoza, Argentina to play for a pro and college prep academy to improve my skills, moving away from home has been difficult but, at the end i am doing this sacrifice to achieve my goals. I grew up in a sports environment, my dad has worked with soccer since before I was born. I was born into a competitive and cultural diverse atmosphere, having played in teams from 4 different continents helped me adapt to different cultures and playing styles. Playing college soccer would be an important accomplishment and big step towards my final goal which is playing professional soccer. I focus on this by spending countless hours in the gym, the soccer field, and on my desk studying to get good grades. I know exactly what I have to do to be good, the journey is the fun and difficult part but at the end of the day I know where I want to be and having an open mind and hunger to work is what is gonna help me get there.
