I played soccer from a very young age, basically since I was able to walk. I grew up in Barcelona and mostly played street soccer with my friends until I was about 7 years old when I started playing for my school, which didn't have a structured program or an actual soccer coach, just our gym teacher who would make us do wind sprints. I always loved soccer but never thought of it as something that I could keep doing after high school. Once I moved to the US I joined a club and began playing soccer more although still not seeing it as anything more than a really fun hobby. It was only when I turned 15 that I started taking soccer seriously. Ever since then I have been on a very strict training program and diet, improving in order to one day play at a college level.
