Ever since I was a little kid, my goal was to wrestle in college. I lived and breathed wrestling for about 8 years of my life, and was ranked at 11th in the nation at one point in my career. However, I was diagnosed with a chest condition that forced me to put my wrestling career to rest. Whenever this occurred, I started to look for something else that could give me the same feeling that I had whenever I was on the wrestling mat, and would not be hindered by my chest condition. The first thing I tried out was soccer and I instantly fell in love with the sport. I have been playing soccer ever since that day and have not turned back in the least. The feeling that I had whenever I stepped on the wrestling mat goes hand in hand with the feeling that I have whenever I step on the pitch to play soccer. I push myself to be the best in everything that I set my mind to, and soccer is my main focus. I strive to get better and better with my skill set every day. This being said, taking my skills to the next level has been what I have dreamed of all my life, but who would have guessed that the sport that I thought I would be taking to the next level whenever I was younger wasn't actually the sport that I plan to now? Soccer is, without a doubt, my number one love in my life, and I can only thank God for putting it before me and pointing me into the right direction with it.
