I've been playing soccer since I was 7 with Southern Soccer Academy. I started in the recreational program, worked my way up to academy and now MLS Next (06B). I have worked very hard and I use soccer as a motivation tool on and off the field. It has not only helped me physically but has also helped to mold me as an individual. Playing soccer has helped me to build character and has taught me how to be a team player and to rise above adversity. It teaches me leadership skills, goal setting and risk taking. These aspects have also played an important part in my schoolwork. I have learned to balance my course load by managing my time appropriately between school and sports. As a result, I am proud to share that I was invited to join the National Society of High School Scholars (NSHSS).
My main role on the field is right back, with an alternate role of right wing. Having the ability to play both positions has made me a diverse player and has helped to develop my strategic and analytical thinking since I must be able to read the game. I work hard every day, but I am still a work in progress. I try to learn from my mistakes and whether I am attacking or defending, I work hard until the very end. Before games I tend to say to myself "whether I make mistakes or not, I will learn from the experience". I was called up to the U17 National Team for St. Kitts & Nevis and I trained with Atletico de Madrid in Spain for 1 week in April 2018.
