Yusuf Baig '18 Recruiting Profile

As a scholar athlete,  I maintained a 3.7 GPA while pursuing AP level courses and playing multiple varsity sports.  On the soccer field, I play Center Back for three teams: Georgia 2000 Olympic Development Program, Morgan County High School Varsity Boys' Soccer,  and All In FC.  I have already gained experience playing at the college level as a 17 yoa player for my U-19 All-In FC club in games against: University of North Georgia, Oglethorpe University, Emmanuel College, Oxford College, Brewton-Parker College and Life University.  Additionally, I am a starting guard for my varsity basketball team who are the current state runnerups.  I have consistently played both soccer and basketball competitively since the age of three.  I believe I would make a positive impact on any inter-collegiate athletic program because of my athletic proficiency and academic aptitude.  I handle leadership responsibility naturally and attempt to make my teammates perform at a higher level.  I am respectful and take instruction and criticism in the spirit in which it is offered.  I have been told repeatedly that I am a "Coach's Player."
