My name is Stefano Cristofaletti and I have been playing soccer since I was 5 years old. Soccer is a sport that I am very passionate about in which has allowed me to become a better person both on the pitch and off the pitch over the past years.
I practically grew up in 4 different countries . I was born in Atlanta and lived there until I was 5 years old. After 5 years in the USA, I moved to Shanghai and lived there for 10 years until recently moving back to the USA in Marietta, GA. My family background has allowed me to travel back to Mozambique and Italy every year, where I spend time with family and friends. This has enriched my multicultural exposure and defines the person I am today, giving me the strength and courage to undertake difficult challenges and adapt through my flexibility to complex environments.
Over the course of my life, I have played for various soccer teams and experienced the sport in different countries such as China, Italy, and the USA. I played for many teams in Shanghai including Juventus Academy during the 2018/2019 season. I have also attended several soccer camps including the Juventus Academy Shanghai Soccer Camp in April 2018, and the Juventus Summer Camp(2016) in Folgaria, Italy. During my time with Juventus Academy Shanghai, I also participated in Asia's Largest Youth Soccer Tournament, the JSSL 7s tournament located in Singapore.
Halfway through 2019, I moved to Marietta, GA. Since then, I have become a new member of Concorde Fire's SCCL U16 team. I moved to the United States to finish my last two years of High School and move on to playing soccer and studying at a University here in the USA. I have also recently joined Walton High School's Junior Varsity Soccer Team. Although I am a Junior in High school, I was born in November 2004, making me 15. Therefore, I will be 16 when going to college.
Being recruited to play NCAA soccer means a lot to me as it can bring me advantages such as giving me the opportunity to attend great colleges and build my career in the future, as well as taking a shot at playing soccer at professional level in the future.
