Jackson Hudgins '21 Recruiting Profile

Hello, I am Jackson Hudgins and I am from Pooler, GA. I am currently a Senior at Benedictine Military Academy, a private school in Savannah, GA. I have a 3.70 GPA at an academically rigorous college preparatory school. I am looking to attend a college/university with a good academic program, particularly science-related. I am 5 feet 11 inches and weigh 140 lbs.

I started as right-winger/attacking mid on my high school varsity team as a Freshman. I was an integral player on our 2A State Championship Team, providing multiple assists and goals throughout the season.  I was selected as Honorable Mention for the Greater Savannah all-county team in my Freshman year. My sophomore year we moved up to a more competitive 3A division and advanced to the final four in the state. The 2020 season was cut short, but I was 2nd in goals and assists for the team. This year, I am playing in the false 9 position for my school and have scored 13 goals with 2 assists in 7 games played. 

On my club team (Savannah United 02/03 Premier), I am utilized in a number of positions on the field. During the 2018 Georgia State Cup, I played effectively as right back because of an injured player at that position and when moved to right-wing at the end of the second half scored one goal. I have had many successes during my 10 years playing with my club team, playing in Georgia Classic I and NCL. 

I am a motivated and dedicated team player. I am looking for a school where I can continue to learn and grow as a player. I thrive alongside other student-athletes who value teamwork and success and where my skills are tested to reach my highest potential. The educational experience is also of utmost importance to me and my family.
