To whomever it may concern,
My name is Alberto Antonio Jasso and I am a freshman at Campbell High School. It all started when I was about 3 or 4 years old that I had discovered my passion for the beautiful game. I grew to learn it, live it, breathe it, but most importantly love it. There has never been a day where I’ve been away from a ball at my feet. Soccer has always been there for me and all I have ever needed was myself and a ball. It’s every boy’s dream to play soccer professionally or at the college level and I am extremely determined to make that possibility a reality. I started playing at the recreational level and moved on into the more competitive teams in the state. As of now, I play in the top division in Georgia (Classic 1) for Buckhead FC and on the Junior Varsity soccer team at my school. I play as both an attacking and defensive center mid, but I can adjust to any position at any given time. On the field, I am a leader and work to the best of my ability from the first whistle to the last in order to achieve victory. As a student, I would consider myself above average and exceed expectations others have set for me. I always do well in school and to this day I have never received a grade below a B. I am always focused and work hard in school and challenge myself academically by only taking honors and AP classes. I aspire to begin playing at the college level in the top divisions and work and earn my way up into the professional leagues. This is my number one goal in life and I don’t plan on letting anyone or anything get in my way of doing so. I do understand, however, that not everyone makes it to that level, but through hard work and dedication I know that I can do it. My motivation to succeed in soccer is what keeps me going and no matter how many times I fail I will push myself to try harder and make it happen. Whether I make it to the next level or not, I know that soccer will always be with me until the day I die. It is the greatest sport in the world and I will never give up on it.
