Mikhael Dahlen '25 Recruiting Profile

Hello all, my name is Mikhael Dahlen, and I am a 6'6", 175lb center back out of Campbell High School in Smyrna, GA. I am a varsity starter and play for SSA SCCL Champions 07. I consider myself to be a very passionate player, as I always attempt to give 100% effort on my part on the field of play and helpfully encourage my teammates when the game doesn't go our way, as with the mindset of failure and hopelessness, success will never be achieved and playing at your best is not possible. 

I consider myself an aerial threat due to my height, as my heading on set pieces causes problems for opposing teams, with many of them, resulting in goals scored by myself or other players on my team, as well as my own goals scored by the other team as I block the vision of the ball. I also love to put in a good tackle, as it establishes my role on the field early into the game and sets the tone for the team's defense so that we can have an energetic and high-paced match. In addition to being a passionate player, I am also passionate in the classroom, as acquiring an education is vital to becoming a great person later in life.

I have a 4.5 weighted GPA and am a part of my school's very selective IB (International Baccalaureate) Program, which both came as a result of always striving to be the best student I can be by studying and completing work on time, as well as pushing for the best possible education I can receive. It is for these reasons that I believe that I would be a great candidate to go to a highly competitive soccer school with an inviting program and team of coaches that strive to make their players the best they can be, as well as one that is highly selective in the educational aspect and challenges me daily in the classroom so that I can reach my full potential and set me up to be the best person I can be.
