Cuauhtemoc Makaniika’ikao’kekoa Ochoa a mouth full right. I am a junior at James Campbell High School in Ewa Beach, Hawaii. This year was my first year playing high school soccer. It’s a long story and I’ll give you the short and sweet version.
I was born and raised in Hawaii. My parents raised me with a soccer ball at my feet from the moment I could walk (both my father and grandpa are and were amazing players). I attended OLPH, a private Catholic school from Kindergarten to eighth grade. The summer before high school I went to Mexico to play Copa Chivas. I was asked to stay and train with Pachuca, a professional team. I stayed and trained for 1 year and studied at Colegio Mahatma Gandhi. The next year I attended UDN, and I committed to Nacional Futbol Club. I practiced for a year with Nacional while waiting for my ITC. Unfortunately, I was not able to get the clearance. Mexico and the United States were not communicating well at the time. Therefore I decided to come home to Hawaii and get my diploma.
I now attend James Campbell and have a 3.8 GPA. I just took the ACT in February and am awaiting the results. At the moment I am considering a degree in engineering.
