Jonathan Acosta '24 Recruiting Profile

I bring a strong drive, work ethic, humble attitude to the table, as well as experience having played against top competition at the local, national and international level.  I recently played against top clubs in Spain at the Albion Cup tournament in August with the Albion National Elite team.  My performance at the Exact 50 NorCal camp recently earned me a spot on the Exact 11 travel roster, where I played against top competition in England.

My physical skills, attitude and experience having played at the national and international level is rare to find in a player.  I excel on defense as a Centerback/Outside Back where I use my speed and physicality to break up plays, but have also played on offense as a Winger where I've scored goals.  I have the skill, experience and mindset to play in virtually any position my coach asks me to play.  Coaches also commend me on my work ethic and point this out to my teamates as a positive example.  My drive and work ethic extends to my schoolwork, where I regularly obtain a GPA of 3.7-4.0.  My dream is to one day play soccer in college while furthering my studies.
