2018 HighlightsWhen I was a toddler, about three or four years old, I began to play soccer with my older siblings. Back then I could barely compete with my brothers due to them being much older than I was. Nevertheless, when I worked hard and finally got the opportunity to touch the soccer ball it filled my shrunken toddler body with joy. Go forward a few years and that joy is still with me. It’s with me as I go through out my school day seeing friends all around me getting to learn new material. Those are two of the best things brought together in one place, friends and learning. And when I get a complex physics problem my brain just goes into overdrive thinking of possible solutions, Oh the fun! However, the time of day that brings me the most joy is when I finally get to step out onto that soccer field.
Now thinking ahead in my academic career, now that I am most certainly going to college (top 4% of my class) I feel as though it would be a pity to let go of something that has given me so much joy in my life. As I study hard in college I will work hard on the soccer field. This in terms will give me an education and the experience of playing college soccer.
