Cesar Pena '21 Recruiting Profile

My name's Cesar Pena I'm currently a senior at Hubbard High School. I was out of shape my freshman year I was the starting goalkeeper for the sophomore team, I knew I could've made it to a higher team, but I needed to get in shape.  By sophomore year I got into shape played a few games with the JV team but I started the process for braces and it made me miss a few games, which kept me in the sophomore team again. I had a goal which was to be in the varsity roster the next year, I accomplished it and became the started for all the conference games and city playoffs. I became one of the leaders in the team, but not the captain because there's players in the roster that were there a year or two before me. I'm not the typical tall goalkeeper I'm 5'6, not the average goalkeeper but I managed to get into shape and make varsity.
