Martin Davila '22 Recruiting Profile

There are multiple qualities that I possess that make me a good candidate for a college soccer team. I see myself as a leader when I have to be one as I was captain of my high school team since my junior year of high school. I can adapt to any situation on and off the field as well. I lead my boys this season by trying to guide them when I was injured and could play for one game. I continued to urge them to never give up every moment of every game, I scored every game that I played showing them to never give up, wether we won or lost I left my heart out on the field. For my last senior game I had to adapt to the way the other team was playing. My defense needed help so I dropped down from playing forward to our center back for my last game. And even though I dropped down to help out my team, I still scored my last goal of the season and ended the season scoring in every game I played. I’m very different from other recruits due to the fact that I’m open to anything that a coach wants me to do. I always do what’s best for the team and can leave my comfort season no matter the situation. I put the team before my self with everything. Character is something that I have a lot of and can be seen on and off the field.
