David Knurek '17 Recruiting Profile

I have been playing soccer for over 10 years now. I have played with a polish club team called AAC Eagles in many of the leagues around the Chicago area. On a club level, we have won many leagues and championships, indoor and out, and I have been the top goalscorer of the leagues. Since freshman year, I have been a varsity starter on my high school teams. I am very competitive and I always want to win, even if it's just a pickup game at the park. I know I'm pretty strong and athletic which is a decisive advantage over the weaker and less confident players. I can read the game well and play a major role on any team. Even though I play attacking positions, I have also played defensive positions when necessary.  Even with soccer, I maintain a solid 3.4 gpa. My goal is to represent a college playing soccer and get the right education I need.
