Growing up my dream was to always become a professional soccer player. As I've gotten older I've realized how vital collegiate soccer can be in helping me achieve my goals. I'm looking for a university/college that will push me both athletically and academically. I'm extremely dedicated to becoming the best goalkeeper and person I can be, whether that's going out in the dark to work on passing against a wall or going in early to school to ask questions. I'm driven by my love for the game and the opportunity to help my family in the future.
Being a goalkeeper in this modern age means we have to be a great shot-stopper as well as a great field player. I'm extremely comfortable with the ball at my feet whether that means having to play it short and wide, having to ping it long in a pocket, or even beating a charging attacker. I'm constantly moving to get in areas for my defenders or midfielders to give me the ball if necessary. Along with the ability to play with my feet, I'm a natural-born leader always directing my team and moving them to where will benefit not just the defense but the team as a whole. I'm very aggressive when it comes to claiming balls out in my 18-yard box and closing down through balls.
