Soccer is a huge part of my life. I always wanted to play college level since I was a kid, by doing that I went out and played soccer with adults to learn from them and to become a better player. Freshman year of high school playing for Notre Dame College Prep with ESCC conference (one of the toughest conferences in Illinois) I was a varsity forward with 40 minutes of playing time. Sophmore year I was a varsity defender starting every game. I was able to accomplish these goals by hard work during off-season. I accomplished these goals because I am committed to becoming a better player to play college level.
What makes me different from other players that play my position is the commitment and energy I have on and off the field. I'm the guy on the team who is committed to sacrifice there body in front of a shot to stop a goal scoring opportunity. Im also the type of guy who is full of energy, if I lose a ball, you bet I'll go chase it down to win it back for the team. What also makes me different is my ability to read the game. Going from forward to defense helped me in many ways. I can read the game and anticipate the next play because I've played that position. I have a very loud voice and I use it to control my defenses because I know how much it can impact the game, constant communication is very helpful in a game, I can lead my team and develop a much better leadership skill.
