My name is Gavin Schmidt from Palatine Illinois. I’m currently playing for my hometown soccer club Palatine Celtic SC. I’m currently playing on the top 09 boys black team as a forward. I have also played as an attacking mid fielder and defender. For the 2025 spring season we played in two leagues, Premier and NPL here in Illinois. As I have played soccer for most of my childhood I have been fortunate enough to be coached by my dad and uncle during my younger playing days were they pushed me to work on my skills along with my speed and metal aspects of this great game. 

As I focus on my current club season I have also been named to the 09 National Select Team for ODP as the only player not playing on an ECNL club and Im very proud of that. I look forward to many more exciting opportunities as I focus on supporting my team with hopes to get back to Nationals this year
