I started playing soccer at 4 years old and my passion for the sport has continued to grow. During my younger years, I participated in additional sports such as baseball and ATV racing. I began ATV racing at 5 years old I was sent out on a dirt track on my own, I learned to be independent and that result of the race depended on my performance on the track. While playing baseball and soccer, I learned that it takes teamwork to win, overcome a loss, and accomplish the team goals. Being part of a team has made me realize the importance of doing what is best for the team and to not only focus on my personal goals or statistics.
My parents have had the biggest influence that has made me the player I am today because they always push me to be better, given me support, and provided opportunities to experience soccer from coaching perspectives. During one of the first soccer camps, I attended when I was 11 years old focused on the five core Barça values both on and off the field are: Humility, Ambition, Effort, Respect, and Teamwork. These core values have stuck with me, and I have made them apart of me along bringing them to both my club and high school team. I have always been willing to step up and play when the older teams needed additional players, which displayed my passion to play a higher level of soccer, taught me great leadership skills, and the importance of mentoring my teammates. My two main soccer goals are to play at a Varsity level all four years of my high school career and play at a collegiate level.
