Joshua Cruz '23 Recruiting Profile

Soccer will always play an important role in my life. It has taught me how to become a disciplined hard working player who will always give 110%. I play National League with a team called ECU(05). Currently we are ranked 48th in the U.S. I was ranked top 16 scorers in the league last season. D1 soccer is my primary goal because I have worked hard to get where I am at today. Each day I strive to become even better. Playing Division 1  soccer in college will help me continue developing my love for soccer as I finish my career. I know  that I can offer unique qualities to any team. I am easily able to adapt to many situations and be an encouraging team leader. On top of that I have an outgoing and social personality. I enjoy meeting new people and volunteering my time to local soccer clubs. I enjoy participating in youth activities and singing in the church band. I dream of one day becoming a dermatologist to help others become more confident with their skin! I have a 3.13 GPA and working harder and harder everyday to raise my grades even higher! I know my academics will play an important role in getting into college.  When it comes to my future, I will always prioritize my academics before soccer.
