The game of soccer has taught me many things about myself. I used to always be the very average player on the field, who was just there. Although, through years and years of training I have transformed myself into a considerable force on the field. As an average player, I still trialed for top level academies in Germany. Although I was not accepted, these experiences have shaped the humble player and person today. I have had my success at making it to academies in Germany once I turned 14, but the experiences of not being accepted or put on a second team is what have benefited my attitude and character the most. Without the game of soccer, I would not only have the same enthusiasm and enjoyment in my life, but I would also not have the humble attitude that I apply in all areas of my life. This is why I would be a good candidate for any team, as I have the ability, but most importantly, I now have the mental toughness to deal with any forms of adversity.
