Aydan Smith '27 Recruiting Profile

My name is Aydan Smith, Class of 2027.  I am currently attending Port Colborne High School in Port Colborne, Ontario, Canada.  I was awarded the 2024-2025 Jr Athlete of the Year. and Varsity Soccer MVP.  I am a multi-sport athlete and I recently retired from competitive hockey to pursue soccer.  I am also involved in cross country and track and field.  My goal is to find a school that will allow me to excel academically and pursue my passion for soccer.  I am committed to my studies and playing soccer at the highest level.  I am right foot dominant, but also very confident with my left foot.  I am versatile, and  have excellent speed and passing ability.  I am a technical player with a high soccer IQ and good vision.  I am a tough defender and enjoy joining the offensive attack when presented.  I enjoy commanding the mid-field and linking plays.  I am hard working, coachable, and believe communication on and off the field are very important.  I am a starter and Co-Captain for Buffalo Pro Soccer (FC Buffalo Soccer) 2009 Boys Academy Team.  I train with a UEFA A licence coach to improve my soccer and athletic abilities.   I am committed to the journey and looking forward  to becoming the best student athlete I can be.
