Christian Davakos '22 Recruiting Profile

Hello,

My name is Christian Davakos and I am from London, Ontario Canada. I am a senior enrolled at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic High School in the graduating class of 2021. For the past 8 years, I have been training exclusively as a goalkeeper and currently play for FC London League 1 Ontario Men's Reserve Squad which I have been a part of since the fall of 2020. In the past, I have played for London TFC U17 OPDL squad,  Eurostar Academy with their U16 and U20 teams, my high school varsity soccer team, and played competitive hockey while working hard to maintain a 3.6 GPA.

I am competitive, but I am also a team player and a motivated leader. Throughout my soccer career, my coaches have commended me on how consistently passionate and committed I am on the pitch and during training sessions. I am always open to new and different training techniques pushing me out of my comfort zone and leveraging my skills to create new possibilities.  For me, there is no off-season or taking short cuts. I work hard to achieve my goals.

I believe a good attitude; work ethic and the use of good time management skills are essential in achieving success in my academics and soccer career.  Soccer is my passion, but my academics come first. I believe my dedication to my studies dictates my play out on the pitch. I am enrolled in the college prep curriculum to meet the division-wide requirements and standards.
