Hello Coaches, 

I would like to talk to you about what makes me a good candidate for your team.  I am a very friendly, respectful and outgoing member of the team.  I am looking to broaden my horizons and tackle new opportunities - both on the field and academically.

I have become a very confident, knowledgable and vocal goalie in my years.  With this experience I  am able to see the entire field, and I am able to help direct my team by letting them know positioning and incoming opposing team members positions with a different perspective of the field layout. 

I have also been involved in Scouts Canada since 2010 - moving up through the "ranks" from Beavers, to Cubs, and then to Scout.  For the last 3 years I have also been volunteering as a Junior Leader with the Beaver colony - attending weekend camps and weekly meetings.  With this venture, I have also been able to attend a Scout Jamboree (Kajo) in 2022 to Finland as one of the only attendees from the Niagara Region - what an experience!  Travelled to Iceland for a whirlwind 2 days before moving on to Helsinki, Finland for a day and then to the camp for a week.  Met new friends, new experiences, new foods and even participated in a Triathalon - which we found out later was for adults only - but we 15 year olds placed 4th out of 10 teams!
