I love soccer. I started playing when I was just 3 years old, and aspire to challenge myself by pursuing higher levels of competition. I have always dreamt of eventually becoming a professional player, and I believe that playing at a collegiate level would help me reach that goal.
I am a talented athlete. While I am predominantly right-footed, I am very capable of controlling, passing, and shooting the ball with both feet. Especially passing. I'm an excellent passer of the ball, which allows me to impact every game by creating chances for my teammates through open play or set-piece delivery. I am a coachable team player and a natural leader. I captained my team to the WYSA outdoor season finals in 2017 and 2018, as well as an indoor Golden Boy Tournament gold medal in 2016. I lead by example through hard work while maintaining a positive attitude towards my teammates, as well as being respectful and open-minded towards my coaches and their criticism.
Off the field, I study hard to maintain a 4.0 GPA and work as a recreational and competitive youth coach and referee with the Thunder Bay Chill. As a certified Ontario referee, I try to surround myself with soccer and involve myself as much as possible. The game is my life.
I hope to find a college that will push me to be a better player and allow me to compete at a high level, while also allowing me to further my education. I am a Canadian student who is open to the possibility of attending college in the U.S. and who will strive to improve as a competitive student-athlete at any college I attend.
