Elliot Birdy '19 Recruiting Profile

My collegiate goals are to graduate with a degree in English, preferably in journalism so that I can pursue a career in sports journalism in case a career in soccer does not materialise. I play as a winger for TFA in Dubai, where we have won back to back league titles as well as being the first team to ever clinch promotion in their debut season in the Dubai Men's League. I have taken over the captaincy for this season and it is gratifying to see that my coach acknowledges not only my footballing capabilities but my leadership competencies too. Both of which I believe make me a suitable candidate for a team environment.
