  I believe that progress in soccer and life is a function of a dynamic and consistent process of self-improvement, perseverance and hard work. I love to play soccer, because it gives me the freedom to express myself on the pitch and to satisfy my competitive nature and hunger for wins!

  Soccer has instilled in me qualities like self-discipline, respect for others, humility and sportsmanship. It has taught me how to control my emotions, subdue my ego and put the team goals first. I have learned to resist pressure in moments of hardship, keeping the team spirit high. I can take responsibility and control of the situation, when necessary!

  Success has built up my confidence, but failures have made me more appreciating and sensitive. I learned to give back through soccer. I often participate in charity soccer initiatives both at the college and my community. I feel happier when I can help people. This gives me a sense of pride and accomplishment.

  Soccer has provided the chance to travel a lot, to visit new places, to meet people of different cultures and make new friends in Bulgaria and worldwide. Leaving my small home town as a kid has transformed my perseverance. It was never easy - a constant struggle to secure a starter position for game day, facing tough competition. This has helped me stay focused and goal oriented, humble and patient.

  I have learned to try hard, to never quit and never give up!

  So, here I am today, ready for the next step, the new challenge- NCAA Soccer!  I dream on, as U.S College Soccer is the best possible venue, where I can pursue both academic and athletic excellence and thrive, while fulfilling my dreams!
