Elliott Williams '16 Recruiting Profile

*Please find below my personal statement, Academy playing history and other endeavors*

I'm a diligent, Hardworking and articulate person who values their education and wishes to pursue a football career at the highest possible level, playing at collegiate level would allow me to strengthen my game further. I have many interests from studying Crypto-Currencies such as (Bit-Coins) to application of Drone technology, and hence I believe my varied interest’s would benefit from the increased flexibility that a degree from university in the united states would give.

I'm a strong and versatile athelete who can play in a number of positions, due to my height of 6’4” I often play at (Centre Back), but my preferred position is (Centre Midfield or Attacking midfielder). Importantly I am an extremely agile player, who drives forward at every opportunity and always plays positive passes. I pride myself on my technical ability and my two footed capabilities which enables me to Play on either side of the field comfortably.

I am equally adapt at playing other sports, I would describe myself as an Athlete.I have spent time riding road bikes and during the summer mothts, I would regularly Cycle over 80 miles at weekends with my cycling club, The Dulwich Paragons and compete at a Cat 4 level.

I was also considered as a good Rugby player at (U12-U14) age group and was a member of the Harlequins Rugby Academy for 2 years. This stopped due it conflicts with my studies and soccer.

I've been playing soccer since the age of 6, and by the age of 9 I was scouted and playing soccer for Fulham FC's academy (U9 - U14), with Fulham Football Club. I played at international tournaments and on a weekly basis played against many premier league Academy teams. I joined the Chelsea FC's academy at U14, but after 1 year I had to choose between continuing my studies and playing soccer fulltime with limited studying opportunities. I played in Midfield and Central defence until the end of the U15 season.

As of today i am Trialing with Barnet Football club ( Championship -League 2- Soccer  team).

My hope is to continue playing soccer at the highest level whilst continuing with my studies, which is of equal importance to me.
