Ramone Lewis '17 Recruiting Profile

My name is Ramone Lewis, and I am currently 12th year student at The Wolmer’s Boys School

which is located in Kingston, Jamaica. I am seriously interested in becoming a member of the 

football team at your institution for the 2018-2019 academic year. I have strong interest in becoming a member of the football team.

My achievements at school have resulted in a GPA.

I have spent 7 consecutive years competing as a member on the Wolmer’s Boys School football

team path both the junior and senior level. My team has won the under 14 football league for our

area twice and we went on to win the under 14 all island league with the help of 7 goals and 7 assist in the first season an 8 goals an 5 assists in the second season.

As I advanced, I became a member of the under 16 team where the team won both the Under 16

title along with the All Island Under 16 title. I scored 5 goals and 10 assists that season. In the senior level, my

football team advanced to the semi-finals of the ISSA Manning Cup championship and won the

Walker Cup in my first year. In my second year, the team went to the ISSA Manning Cup finals

and won the Flow Super Cup title. I am a versatile players as I have played several positions

such as Center Defensive Midfield, Center Attacking Midfielder, Right Midfield and Left

Midfield. My involvement in football has not been limited to that of my high school team as I

have been a member of other football teams prior and during my years as a Wolmerian. I was a

member of the under 13 team which won the KASFA league for the Habour View football club.

As I matured, i went onto to compete at the under 15 league where we also won the KASFA

Under 15 championship, I was also the leader of the team . I was apart of the Habour View Football Club team that won the

KASFA Under 17 Championship.

My aspiration is to be become an international professional footballer as football has always

been my passion and I believe that I have the dedication and zeal needed to achieve this goal.

However an important long-term goal that I have set for myself is to become an entrepreneur as

my passion extends beyond football to that of business. Your institution exhibits the necessary

standards for me to achieve these goals due to expertise in terms of coaching and training needed

for me to reach the level needed to compete professionally. Your academic standards also to be

noted as your institution allows for me to balance both my academics and sport interest which is

demonstrated by your well-round background. I have included footage of my highlights from

past football seasons showing a snippet of what I have done and what I am capable of.
