As a captain of the soccer team (Tan Holdings U-18), I think of different methods of team building. I know its important to make every individual on the team feel important, and as a captain I motivate my team to be the best player and football team on Saipan, Commonwealth of the Northern Marianas Islands (CNMI). Playing for the Northern Marianas Islands Football Association (NMIFA) in several national competitions (U-15,U-18,U-19, and Men's National/All Star) has provided me the opportunity to develop my individual and leadership skills.

Playing football on our local and school leagues provides me the insight on how much teamwork you need to establish a good and dedicate team. Once you establish teamwork from each player, individual accomplishments can be achieved in football and their personal life. Fundraisers for special events even off the field is about teamwork. It is my job as a team leader to encourage my team to perform to their maximum level.
