My name is Tireoluwa Olushola-Alao. I have loved soccer since a very tender age and have aspired to play at the highest level since I was 8. A few months ago, I heard about the prospect of playing soccer at the college level. I am more than willing to take the opportunity to represent a good college in the United States of America because I see it as a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to be at the top of my game academically and also in my soccer career.
I am a forward who can either play as a lone striker or with a supporting striker. I can also be deployed as a left or right winger. I am a physical player and good at jumps and headers. I am right-footed but I am also averagely comfortable with my left foot. I am known for my physicality, shot power, and pace. I also possess a good amount of pace on the ball. I am always ready to learn from coaches and I am a very hardworking and determined player. I am a leader on and off the pitch and I have shown this during my tenure as Head Boy of my school and captain of my team, which won the intra-school soccer tournament last year.
In my academics, it has been my mission to be at the top of my game, especially when it comes to my course of study, Economics, and all other important subjects. My junior secondary school grades weren't good enough but I'm proud that I've been able to boost my GPA with my senior secondary school grades. I have won various awards such as in a Mathematics quiz, relay races, and long jump.
It is my goal to attend a college where I can be at my best in academics and in sports. I am open to all options as I believe, with my determination, any college is able to take me to the next level in life. I hope to be an example to my friends and teammates here and I want to prove that I'm made to perform at the highest level in every area of my life.
