Dear Coach,

Here are a few reasons why I respectfully request you consider me for your roster:

DEDICATION THROUGH SACRIFICE. Since I was 5, I’ve pursued competitive football with absolute commitment—sacrificing weekends, holidays, parties and free time to train and improve. I spent 7 years at Atlético de Madrid’s Academy, winning 3 league titles, training a minimum of 3–5 days a week for the past decade. This level of consistency reflects one thing: football is not just what I do—it’s who I am.

DRIVEN BY PURPOSE. Growing up knowing my father played collegiate soccer in the U.S., I’ve had a clear vision from the start: to combine academic and athletic excellence at a top U.S. university. I’ve shaped every decision—on the pitch and in the classroom—to reach that goal. I’m determined to succeed, and I’ve built the work ethic to match.

RELIABLE, COACHABLE, AND ACCOUNTABLE. I don’t wait to be told what to do—I lead. I’m the one waking up my family before early sessions, arriving first to the pitch, and helping younger teammates. I’ve captained teams because coaches trust me to be the voice of the group, both vocally and through my example. I embrace feedback and never hide from responsibility.

MENTALLY TOUGH. I know how to fight through setbacks. If I fall short, I work harder. If I fall again, I get back up stronger. I believe mental resilience is what separates good from great—and I work daily to sharpen that edge. I also know I have much more to learn, and I look forward to growing under great coaches like yourself.

ACADEMICALLY DETERMINED. My GPA is improvable—and I’m improving it. My goal is to finish with straight A’s in my A Levels by 2026, reaching a 4.0 uGPA equivalent to ensure I can apply to the best institutions. I’m willing to put in the hours, the effort, and the sacrifice required.
