Personal Statement
My name is Syed Ali shah. I have done my O'levels in 2019 from lahore in beaconhouse school system(bahria town branch) . I will complete my A'levels from lahore in Lahore grammer school paragon campus in 2021. Now I am looking forward for my bachelor degree and decided to do Phycology department . I searched many universities in Us and I found the best for me in form of your institute. I have checked the modules of this program and these are just perfect to my needs and interests. Therefore, I started searching various universities of Us and the course of Phycology department at your university had some of the exciting modules that favors and covers my area of interest. Therefore, I decided to take admission in the your university. Moreover, the student friendly atmosphere and good reviews regarding international students experience also make it my choice.
Apart from that , I am and international player of baseball and football represented my country 15 times in youth and recently in senior both. I have many experiences in such a early age. I was the captain of the youth baseball u-18 , u-16 Pakistan team who has participated in asian championships, world cup and west asia cup. Referring to This it can be seen that i have alot of skill of leadership and teamwork.
Why this programme:
This programme will develop my personal and professional skills of independent thinking, critical analysis and reflective learning, are able to operate in today’s rapidly changing global landscape and I have the ability to solve problems at a strategic level,also will get to know my legal rights. I believe in justice so i want make people's mind relaxed get them out from mentally tension.
In recent years,whitworth university students have come from all sectors including professionals from health, social care, legal base , police, business consultants and those who have decided to take a career break or who wish to change career direction. In Your university I will study organisations, focusing in particular on the role of leaders and managers in determining the organisation’s mission, vision and strategic direction.
I will develop critical reflection and engagement skills to understand, apply and challenge the relevance of academic theories in a rapidly changing life system context.
I will to widen my perspective beyond the limitations imposed by my own experience and develop insights, critical thinking and the management skills necessary to function effectively in a management role. I will have access to the wide range of university equipment and IT facilities, including personal email accounts and Moodle.There will be active student participation, using student-led seminars & discussion groups, tutor-led discussion and debate, guided reading and independent research of library and internet resources and the most important law moot. The relevance of study will be shown through work-based assignments and projects, guest speakers, topical case studies, and assignment topics. Finally, independent learning will be encouraged with significant emphasis on student research / seminars / small group work rather than didactic approach.In future, On successful completion of this programme I will have the necessary knowledge, understanding and skills to gain undergraduate -level employment in a management/leadership role within Law Firms , in the global environment. Alternatively, I will be eligible to progress to bachelors -level study at the University or to seek entry to doctoral-level study at another higher education institution.The Phycology Programme is designed to offer a general legal education with the ability to specialise in Phycology Management. Moreover, I also want to contribute towards my family business by giving legal advises on the legal issues faced.
Furthermore, it is my dream to contribute in my family business.
