Andres Herrera '20 Recruiting Profile

I am an 18 year old soccer player form Costa Rica, who is looking forward to obtain a 100% scholarship to study in the US and make the best of me to be an excellent athlete, human being and student. Since my early childhood, I started playing soccer and turned it into my passion. My whole life has always revolved around this sport. I have moved into several elite teams in Costa Rica which have provided me to master my skills and performance in soccer along the years. Since a couple of years ago, my dream of playing soccer in a U.S university has grown exponentially, to the point that it is the only thing I think about. Being president of my high school, completing the IB program, training soccer with full consistency and several other activities  have all being part of turning myself into an eligible athlete for getting a scholarship in the US. Now I think the time has come by and I am looking forward anxiously and decided to make the best of the opportunity. I can tell that my main goal is to become a totally committed, dedicated, and responsible student athlete in a US university that will take every chance to  become a great professional.
