Jack Petty '25 Recruiting Profile

I am a twin, I've lived in 7 countries, and studied Arabic, Spanish, Swahili, and Dutch. I'm passionate about art, geological sciences and I love to read science fiction.

Adapting to different cultures and embracing challenges and new experiences has made me a better student and athlete.

Playing soccer has been a part of life since I can remember. My experiences vary from participating in a US travel team in Virginia to playing with the London, UK Championship side Queen’s Park Rangers’s Advanced Development Program. I love the game. I’m dedicated, hard working, and believe in the importance of sportsmanship and respect on the pitch.  

I commit 100 percent of my focus and effort to all that I do, whether that be on the pitch or in the classroom.  I have always tried to balance academics, athletics, and my hobbies such as drawing and traditional oil painting. I consider myself academically focused and competitive. As an example, I’m pursuing the full IB diploma.

I want to continue playing soccer and studying at the highest academic level. I believe I have and will continue to demonstrate my ability at the collegiate level, as well as my commitment to hard work and appreciation for the game.
