I am a highly motivated pupil who is committed to being the best I can be both on and off the field. I set myself high standards and like nothing more than a different challenge.
I started playing soccer aged 8 and immediately fell in love with the game. Since then I have played at the highest level possible in Scotland for someone my age from the age of 12-17. During this time I have become accustomed to travelling for games all over Scotland, down to England and across Europe to Spain. Although still in high school I have been training with Arbroath FC first team who are a senior club here in Scotland. This has tested me further and given me incredible valuable experience. I have also had the honour to captain my high school team and often I am asked to play a year above myself. From being captain my desire and enthusiasm to win rubbed off on my team mates and we have enjoyed great success. I have a strong winning mentality but I am also gracious in defeat where I also look to learn valuable lessons. Having played soccer to this high level I also have many transferable skills.
I enjoy school life and I always set myself goals to achieve in the classroom. I always show a positive, committed attitude in class and take academia seriously. Deadlines are important to me as is punctuality and I always make sure any homework or assignments are delivered on time.
In my spare time I am gaining my soccer coaching badges and currently I coach young children from age 3 to the age of 12. I also coach street soccer in deprived areas around my local county.
I strongly believe I have the talent and work ethic to be a major part in your team.
