A 17-year-old winger looking to play collegiate soccer, my passion for the sport stems from a long history of playing this beautiful game. I always loved the ball. I always loved running with it, passing by players, and putting it in the back of the net. The passion to create and achieve developed the foundations for my skills as a winger, striker, central attacking midfielder, and outside back. This passion also took me to a myriad of fields that shaped who I am as a player and as a person. Having started as a winger in Stoke City Shanghai Academy and the EbbeSand Academy, I challenged myself with the highest levels available to me. With consistent and rigorous training, I was the only freshman who made my high school varsity team in 2018. That year, I ended the season with crucial goals; one of them being in the Asia Pacific Activities Conference final. In addition, I was awarded ALL-APAC (only given to the best four players in the tournament). My skills as a winger are not only limited to scoring. My ability to use my body with agility combined with my technical basics and pinnacle awareness endows me with the ability to create plays for the rest of my team. This year in 2019, I accumulated a total of 15 assists and 2 goals for my high school varsity team. Additionally, I was awarded Most Valuable Player (MVP) that is given to the most valuable player on the team. Beyond these stats lies my passion for the game. Always the first one to training and the last one to leave, I challenge myself to be the best that I can be. I wish to continue this pursuit of creation and achievement as I take my soccer talent into the NCAA.
