I am a midfielder, and my goal as a soccer player is to join an ambitious collegiate soccer team where I can thrive on the field and excel in my chosen field as a student. Working in collaborative teams where each member is driven to put in their best efforts and pursue personal growth as a soccer player while also enjoying the experience is something I genuinely value.

I have been playing soccer since I was 4 years old, first recreationally in Beijing and competitively when I joined the CP Sporting Academy in Singapore in 2018. Being exposed to the next level of the game spurred me on to pursue my goal as a college athlete. Especially when I had the opportunity to travel to Lisbon to train at the Sporting Academy in 2019. This was a transformative journey for me, it highlighted the significance of hard work, the importance of cultivating a winning mindset, and the benefits of a conducive professional environment, which further motivated me to perform better. 

In 2022, I was awarded a Soccer scholarship to study at the British International School in Phuket (Thailand) and to train at the Cruzeiro Soccer Academy. While being away from home is not ideal, it was an opportunity not to be missed because it is bringing me closer to my goal. I had the opportunity to see where I am at in terms of skills when I was one of the selected number of players who traveled to Brazil to train at the Cruzeiro Academy for two weeks. I was happy to see that technically I was able to compete well and to adjust my game play to the fast and more aggressive Brazilian teams.

My dominant foot is my right foot, but I can assert that my left foot is now on par with my right. My regular position is defensive midfielder, but I can confidently play anywhere in midfield.

I am really passionate about playing soccer and studying at an elite level, and I want to take my game to the next level in a collegiate environment.
