Personal Statement

Hi, my name is John Yonamine and I am currently a junior at the American School in Japan. As a 155 pound, 6 foot goalkeeper I am really looking for an opportunity to continue playing soccer at the collegiate level. Playing soccer is obviously very important to me, however, continuing my education in a thriving college is also very important to me. I play primarily on my school varsity team (ASIJ Mustangs) which in the last two years have placed first and second in the Kanto Plains Regional Tournament. This past season we remained undefeated with only three goals conceived. During the off season I play on my school Varsity baseball team as well as training continuously on a youth professional club team, Tokyo Verdy FC Youth. I am interested in any opportunity to continue playing soccer in college, so if you enjoyed the videos which are linked in my profile below, please contact me at either [email protected] or [email protected]

Thank you so much for your time and I look forward to getting in contact with you!
