Dimitar Draganov '25 Recruiting Profile

I am a highly committed, technically strong and strategic athlete currently a starter for the youth team of one of Bulgaria’s 1^st Professional Soccer League teams, Botev Plovdiv. Ever since I was 8 years old, soccer has been a way of life for me. My goal is to play soccer at the highest competitive level, first in college, and then in a professional league.

It is important for me to be great at all aspects of the game, to best support my team. Strategically, I am always aware where everyone is on the field which helps me execute plays the other team does not expect. I excel technically and am comfortable under pressure and in staying focused in a tight spot. My teammates look for me to finish attacks in the final stretch.

I believe that success in soccer goes beyond intrinsic ability. I train hard daily and rank among the top on my team in terms of athleticism statistics. I commit to every game and often lead in number of touches, distance covered, sprint counts. I am mentally resilient and dedicate time to understand and improve my emotional intelligence in navigating the game.
